Quality and the environment 

In accordance with its commitment to achieve the highest quality levels in its actions, and the maximum respect for the conservation and protection of the environment, Grupo Tragsa has a Quality and Environmental Management Integrated System, certified by AENOR, according to the Standards UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2000 and UNE-EN-ISO 14001:2004, which cover all its activities and Spanish companies:

• TRAGSA: Quality Certificate dated 19/10/1998 (ER-0085/1998). Environmental Management Certificate dated 23/03/2003 (GA-2003/0120).
• TRAGSATEC: Quality Certificate dated 23/12/1997 (ER-0970/1997). Environmental Management Certificate dated 07/04/2004 (GA-2004/0128).

The Group highlights due to its firm commitment to the environment through the continuous improvement of its environmental management, as demonstrated by the process to join the Community Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS register) by the Group’s main centers of activity.

The implementation of this Management Scheme entails a higher demand on environmental behavior, as the EMAS system involves external collaborators and puts special emphasis on the observance of the environmental legislation. Likewise, the evolution of the environmental behavior is measured throughout the time via different indicators.
