Grupo Tragsa acts as instrumental means and executes the works entrusted to it via agreements by the State General Administration, the Autonomous Communities and Municipalities.

Grupo Tragsa is constituted by the parent company Tragsa, Empresa de Transformación Agraria, S.A., established in 1977, and by Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., Tragsatec.

Tragsa has more than 30 years of experience and works on nature protection and conservation, rural development and the provision of emergency services.

Since 1989, Tragsatec is in charge of the engineering and technical support of rural development and of the environmental, agricultural and forest activities, as well as of the management of fishing resources and aquaculture.

In November 2011, Tragsatec assumed the services provided by Tragsega since 2001 in the animal husbandry and food fields.
