News Elvira Rodríguez, a new chairperson in the SEPI Foundation’s Board Pilar Platero, the President of SEPI, announced her nomination in the first meeting of this organism 04/05/2017 Print The President of Tragsa Group, Elvira Rodríguez, joined the SEPI Foundation’s Board as a new chairperson. Pilar Platero announced it during her first meeting as a President of this organism, in which she remarked the importance of publishing the actions and possibilities that the Foundation offers. Elvira Rodríguez counts on a wide experience in public management just like her extensive career in the Administration, where she has been working as a Minister of Environment, Secretary of Estate of Budgets and Expenses and the President of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). In the same event, Miguel Martín Fernández, the President of the Spanish Banking Association (AEB), and a member of the Independent Authority of Fiscal Responsibility’s advisory board (AIReF). SEPI Foundation The SEPI Foundation was set up in 2012. Its tasks are to provide its workers management training and ease the access of graduated young people without professional experience to the job market through an internship programme. In this sense, Pilar Platero announced during this event the participation of the Foundation in the call of Ministry of Health’s internships for female engineers and those who are graduated in Science, as well as its intention to strengthen the Campus of Los Peñascales (a corporate training centre which belongs to SEPI Group) as a place of reference and a centre of discussion and analysis about questions of the present linked to business management.
