We understand the responsibility as a commitment to go beyond mere compliance with the legal obligations of our business. We take responsibility of acting with integrity by acting with honesty, dignity and ethics, which generates confidence in our company on the basis of transparency in the management and communication to our stakeholders.

Our staff
We are aware that people working in Grupo Tragsa are, and must be, one of its main pillars. For this reason, our challenge is to create an environment guaranteeing equal opportunities and non-discrimination, boost training and the professional development of our staff and implement the measures needed to reach the highest level of safety and health for all jobs. Guaranteeing the respect for human rights, rejecting child labor, forced labor and any practice violating individual or collective dignity.

COMMITMENT TO EXTERNAL INITIATIVES
 
Global Compact

Grupo Tragsa joined the Global Compact in 2006. The United Nations Global Compact is a strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.
Grupo Tragsa has updated its commitment to the Global Compact initiative with the annual publication of the corresponding progress reports, in which the contribution and advances of the organization are recorded.
 
The Poznan Statement

Grupo Tragsa reaffirmed its commitment to the protection of the environment and to sustainability by signing the Poznan Statement in December 2008.  This manifesto was created within the framework of the 14th Climate Change Conference and aims to ask the governments participating to implement specific actions to guarantee a joint action plan against climate change from the year 2012.
 
60th ANNIVERSARY OF THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS

Grupo Tragsa signed a manifesto to support the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary (1948-2008) of this Declaration. The objective of this initiative is to inform the entities of the whole world that the signatories of the United Nations Global Compact, no matter their country of origin or type of activity, recognize the importance of the respect for Human Rights in their businesses.
This initiative, addressed to the leaders of the companies around the world, is also consolidated as a call to the governments to fully comply with their obligations regarding human rights.
