Collaboration with the National Reference Laboratories (NRL) of the Ministry of Agriculture in the diagnosis of diseases, conducting analytical techniques, genotyping work and affiliation, implementation and maintenance of accreditation according to Standard ISO 17025 Testing Laboratories. Tragsatec has worked with the NRL since 1998 in the diagnosis and research of animal diseases which, based on the national and international health situation, have been or are a threat to the livestock and wildlife population in our country. Disease surveillance and control are carried out with techniques for: -Serological diagnosis, isolation and non-molecular identification -Molecular biology -Histopathology, vaccine calibration and quality control, diagnostic kits, reference sera and antigens -Validation for the detection of residues. Support is also provided in the development of new diagnostic techniques that enable progress in the confirmation of pathogens with greater specificity and sensitivity. The tasks are performed by staff who are qualified and specialized in such techniques and in Quality management. Similarly, Tragsatec visits the animal facilities of the NRL and other Animal Health Research Centers, providing care and maintenance to test animals and facilities, as a basis for carrying out tests and development of new techniques. Last but not least, support is provided in the implementation of Quality in the labs (according to Standard UNE-EN ISO 17025) and the development of computer systems (information management and networks and data transmission for collaborative trials, applied research and knowledge transfer).
