Collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (MAGRAMA) in maintaining the "Official Registry of Plant Health Products and Material."

Plant protection products are now an indispensable tool for maintaining and ensuring the agricultural production encompassed in the European production model.

However, the use of these products may have other undesirable effects on both human health and the environment. Therefore, in order for a product to be commercialized in our country, it must first be registered in the Official Registry of Plant Health Products and Material (ROPMF), which is maintained by MAGRAMA.

Tragsatec collaborates in maintaining the Registry through various tasks, of particular importance among them are the technical assessments. In these evaluations, plant health products pass a strict evaluation to ensure the absence of any toxicological risk to human and animal health and the environment, while ensuring efficiency in the protection of the crop and its products against potential pests and diseases.

Tragsatec provides support in the evaluation of technical documentation in the registration dossiers of plant health products as submitted by the manufacturing companies, falling into the groups of Ecotoxicology and Environment, Efficiency, Waste and Security, according to the criteria set out in Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and the Council, and Directive 91/414/EEC of the Council, concerning the commercialization of plant health products.

Tragsatec also collaborates in the other stages of processing that products in the Registry follow, providing technical assistance, including the development and maintenance of management software.

Tragsatec has carried out these tasks for MAGRAMA since 2003.
